AK11 and R9 Hockey Academy<\/h2>\n

The An\u017ee Kopitar and Toma\u017e Razingar Ice Hockey Academy is named after two of the most successful Slovenian ice hockey players of all time.<\/p>\n

Playing in the NHL, the most elite hockey league in the world, An\u017ee Kopitar won the prestigious Stanley Cup twice during 2012 and 2014, both times as the leading scorer of the playoffs and MVP for the LA Kings.<\/p>\n

Apart from the permanent mark he left on the Slovenian national team, for which he played a record 212 games, Toma\u017e Razingar has thrilled ice hockey fans across Europe and, at the start of his career, on the other side of the Atlantic, where his team became ECHL champions.<\/p>\n

Both players made an indelible impression at the Sochi Olympic Games, where the Slovenian national team, led by Matja\u017e Kopitar, sensationally placed seventh.<\/p>\n

Matja\u017e Kopitar, former head coach of the Slovenian national team and the mastermind behind the greatest achievements of Slovenian ice hockey, will also oversee the professional aspects of the Ice Hockey Academy. Under his leadership, the Slovenian national team was able to stand against the biggest ice hockey nations for the first time. Apart from the success of the national team, Matja\u017e Kopitar is also responsible for the greatest achievements of the Jesenice Ice Hockey Team in the extended Austrian national league (EBEL).<\/p>\n

The preparatory camp is a program where we will host young hockey players who are already too old for our programs within the Hockey Academy. As part of the 2024 preparatory camp, all hockey players born in 2008 or earlier are welcome.<\/p>\n
